The birds are all doing fine; the babies are growing and growing. I am so proud and hope that they all will survive. Here some more pictures of the four birds. Soon I have more pictures of all five young lovebirds.

The fifth baby lovebird has died today. It was a terrible thing to see, but from the beginning this bird was very little and weak. I'm sorry for him/her.... At this picture you see the little one with the "red eyes" and this is the one which has died.

Some complications has occurred, because Tommie isn't feeling well. I 'm so sad, because he has a wound under his left wing. I don't know how he got this wound. And it has become worse. So today I brought him to my friend Harry, who breeds lovebirds and Jerry is a bird of him. We've put on a kind of collar so that he can't touch his wound anymore. I hope he will recover soon, because he is my most favourite bird, and I really love him. I couldn't keep him in my apartment, because they (Jerry and Tommie) can hear and see each other and then there is a possibility that Jerry doesn't feed her babies anymore. That would be a disaster.

I miss him terribly!

Jerry has been picking all the babies, but well....I must not complain. She feeds them very good and they have grown a lot. The eldest one is very cute and strong. Today I saw that he tried to get out of the nestbox, but he is only four weeks old. This is a picture of some days ago of the eldest one:

Again I saw the youngest one in the hole of the nestbox; it's so cute to see this. He is just four weeks old, but very strong and anxious about the world outside!!
