Rakker, my blue budgie
This is my budgie Rakker. He is 6 years old and is very tame. He speaks a lot of words and phrases and loves to sit on my shoulder or on my head. He always reacts when I 'm talking to him and he lives alone in his cage. Till June 7th, 1998 he had a girlfriend Mikki, but she died that day. He loves to play with my lovebird, hates bells and adores mirrors!! His favorite delicacy is apple, tangerine, cucumber and millet. He is now becoming friends with my lovebird Pucky. Now and then he feeds Pucky and Pucky let it all happen....well...not always!

I'm glad that they like each other. Well...like?? I think Rakker is in love with Pucky!! LOL! :o)
He constantly follows Pucky wherever she goes! It is so cute to see and I am glad that my lovebird and budgie can live together as friends.I got Rakker right out of a nest of budgies. The person who bred him was very nice and I could always come to him and take a look at Rakker in the nest, or hold him. That was soooo cute!! So he already got used to me.

YoungRakker9.jpgMy little blue budgie died today... this afternoon at half past four... (February 1, 2003).. and I am devastated. I miss him badly... it's so hard, but you know.. he was 8½ years old and he was never ill.. he had a very good life with me, I loved him very much and I know that he loved me..! I have to remember that!!!
