The story of Pucky and Sweetie! (9)

        

Friday, January 26, 2001
 Long time no hear! But I was much too busy to write in the diary. Everything goes perfect. Tommie already comes out of his nest box now...since yesterday! Great huh? Only Sammy didn't come out yet, but he will soon. No doubt about that. 
Pucky is now more attached to the babies when they are out. He comes to see them, when I put them on my table. He didn't do that before.

Saturday, January 27, 2001:
 Hi again...Sammy came out of the nest box himself, today!! Wow!! Finally! He looks very healthy, but mostly he's very lazy. It sounds stupid, but he is! And Tommie on the other hand is very quick, learning a lot and alert. But that makes them so special.

Sunday, January 28, 2001:
 Great news!! Sammy had his first flight today!! It was so funny to see. I had them (Sammy and Tommie) out of the nest box on my table, as usual. Also to take some new digital photo's. Till now Tommie was always the first in doing something new, but today Sammy was flying!! For the first time in his live...it was so cool. He flew from my table into the book-case and landed on my bird magazines of the BVA (the Belgium Lovebird Society!!!!), isn't that hilarious??!

Monday, January 29, 2001:
 Sammy flew more today...from the couch into the cage...great! Only Tommie is a bit scared to fly, but he soon will go off like Sammy did.
