April 30, 2001:
Bad bad me...LOL. I was very busy and also ill, the flu. So that's the reason why I didn't update this page anymore...oh oh..and the babies are already gone now...isn't that something?!! Ha ha...but let me think. The last update was April 9, so after that everything went okay. Only Pucky and Sweetie kept plucking their babies. But I couldn't take them away yet, they just were too young for that.

Here some photo's from April 11 - 20.

April 11, 2001:

Only the youngest baby is normal green.  Beautiful olive color  Here you can clearly see how they were plucked!  The eldest one (Kiwi) sleeping in my hand.

April 13, 2001:

The eldest one, light olive green.  The second baby, dark olive green (Paulie)  The third baby, also dark olive green (Lucky)  Dinky, the youngest one, normal (apple) green.

April 20, 2001 (the latest photo's of all the babies together!!):

all the babies.  Playing with mom and dad.  with daddy  All soooo tired...

    Sweetie.

All the babies are gone. The eldest one, Kiwi, went to Ans. Then Paulie, the second baby, he went to Simone and Rob and Lucky, the third baby, went to a colleague of mine, Irene and Bert. I am sure they will have a good live with the new owners, but I still miss them a little. Lucky me that I have (email) contact with all the new owners. So now and than I 'll hear something about the little guys!!!

Then....I decided to keep the youngest baby, as you already knew. He is my sweet little baby and from the beginning, when he came out of the egg being very tiny, I found it such a cutie.

So....this is Dinky, you all!! My new lovebird:

    after his dinner, already preening.

    Already very curious!!

Soon I will make a special page about Dinky and how he is growing etc. Keep you posted on 'm!
